How it Works
Fair & Affordable Pricing
Our shared shuttle operates on a simple and fair cost-sharing system.
Our standard fare is based on four paying passengers. Rather than charging everyone a higher fare, we keep our standard fares as low as possible and only share the cost of any empty seats when fewer than four people are travelling.
4 or more passengers – Everyone pays the lowest standard fare.
3 passengers – The cost of one empty seat is shared equally between the three travellers.
2 passengers – The cost of two empty seats is shared equally between the two travellers.
1 passenger – The sole traveller covers the cost of the three empty seats.
During the main walking season, most of our shared shuttles operate with four or more passengers, so additional charges are only occasionally required.
This approach is simple, transparent and fair. It keeps our standard fares lower for everyone while still allowing smaller groups to travel when passenger numbers are lower.

How Booking Works
Book your shuttle as normal and select the number of passengers travelling.
Pay the standard fare by credit card at the time of booking. Your booking is then confirmed.
If you book more than 30 days before travel:
Around 30 days before your travel date, we'll review passenger numbers and contact you. If four or more passengers are booked, there's nothing more to pay.
If fewer than four passengers are booked, we'll let you know what, if any, additional payment is required under our cost-sharing system. At that point, you can either:
Continue with your booking by paying your share of any empty seats, ensuring the shuttle operates; or
Cancel your booking and receive a full refund if you decide not to proceed.
If you book within 30 days of travel:
We'll contact you as soon as possible after your booking to advise on the current passenger numbers. If fewer than four passengers are booked, we'll explain the additional cost, if any. You can then choose to:
Proceed with your booking by paying the adjusted fare, or
Cancel for a full refund.
Travel Day Adjustments & Refunds
Passenger numbers can continue to increase right up until the day of travel.
If additional passengers book after you've confirmed your place, your share of the empty seats may reduce. If this happens, we'll automatically refund the difference to the credit card you used to make your booking.
This means you'll never pay more than necessary—you'll only pay your fair share based on the final number of passengers travelling.
